what the best ipod compatible music subscription service?

Question by bdubbayou: what the best ipod compatible music subscription service?
i have an ipod, but i’d rather not pay-per-song — and limewire while nice and free always screws up on my computer … it didn’t on my old one but its just not compatible with windows vista i guess? anyway … are there any monthly subscriptions i can use that itunes will accept?!? or even if i have to — anything free? im not a fan of illegal music but my ipod deleted itself the same day my computer crashed so im going nuts … 20 songs on an ipod isn’t acceptable! lol

Well if you still have your old computer you can just burn CD’s and put it in your new iTunes.

itunes is by far your best bet, but i think if you wanted to pay per month, theres a program called rhapsody, its run through real player… they are similar to napster.

it doesnt matter which program you download through, itunes and your ipod play mp3 files, as well as the ipod specific m4a format.

Most ‘subscription’ services like Napster, Rhapsody, etc won’t work with iPod, because they use WMA files or mp3′s coded to not work on iPods.

Instead, try eMusic… you pay about $ 10 a month and get 40 or more mp3s that’ll work on your computer, CDs, iPod, anything. They have a great selection too!
