They’re almost the same except the iPod touch is much thinner than the iPhone. The iPhone is always on 3g or wifi so you’ll be connected everywhere. Applications such as FaceBook, Twitter, Maps, etc. only work when you have wifi on your iPod touch, but they’ll work wherever you go on an iPhone. The iPhone also has a microphone, louder speaker, and camera.

I think the most reasons why some people choose iTouch is the monthly fee ,it will save a lot .But in a whole,iPhone is better than iTouch
Actually you can treat IPhone=Itouch + phone

In a word,Iphone can do what ipod touch do,but ipod touch can’t.There are some apps that need wifi but most of them don’t need it. oh and actually you can text and call. but you need wifi to do it.

Iphone is more practical in some other aspects all the while, such as lots of apps.In my experience, many of my friends felt a little regretted after they buy touch instead of iphone :D

why pay when you can get a free Iphone 3gs 16gb or 32gb here http://apple.freebiejeebies.co.uk/280415 just register and sign up for an offer (I recommend a free one or free trial) and refer your friends, I know it sounds to good to be true but the companies get free promotion for this and pay freebie jeebies to give us our items! Just check out the dedicated forum of other people who have their Iphones and other items such as Ipad, Apple Mac AND Ipods and do a little research yourself into freejeebies there are plenty of testimonials! Hope this helped good luck getting your free Iphone soon!

The only reason the iPhone is cheaper is because you have to pay for the whole AT&T contract which in the end costs a lot more than the iPod Touch. If you are looking for which one you should get, I would recommend getting the iPod touch. The only thing you cannot do with the iPod touch is take pictures. There are apps to send SMS text messages (textNow, textPlus, etc.) and you can use Skype for phone calls (although you will need to buy a compatable microphone). I have an 8gig iPod touch and a cheapy free with contract flip phone, and I am perfectly happy.

Well, the iPod is everything the iPhone is, except the phone and the camera. The iPhone is only $ 99 with 2 year plan with AT&T..it is cheaper but you don’t have to pay a bill with the iPod Touch.. also the iPhone is thicker

The main feature differences are the phone side and the actual size, the iTouch is thinner and lighter.
