Question by Elizabeth M: What cord do you need for an ipod touch to get music onto it from itunes?
What cord do you need for an ipod touch to get music onto it from itunes? Like the one you plug into the computer and ipod. Does it come with the ipod touch. I am making a Christmas list and need to know if I will have to buy the cord separately that gets music onto it from itunes, or if it will come with it.

The itouch will come with everything you need, including the usb cord that is needed to connect it to the computer so you can download songs, videos, apps ect. It also comes with earphones and a cleaning cloth I beleive. So don’t worry there are no other cords you need to buy, it comes with it already. Good luck!

The iPod USB cord comes with it, along with other stuff like earbuds, cleaning cloth, instructions, etc. It doesn’t come with iTunes though, you have to download that from the Apple website since you need iTunes to activate and synch your iPod.

To put songs from your iTunes account you will need the white USB cable that comes with the whole iPod Touch package.

One end of the cord is a small, thick plug which is called the USB plug.

The other end of the cable is an elongated, thin plug that plugs into your iPod Touch.

Connect the USB port on the cable to the USB port on your computer.

Connect the other end of the cable to the base of your iPod Touch.

On the side of the iTunes window you will see the name of your iPod Touch.

Click and drag any music that you want from your ‘Library’ to the icon that is your iPod Touch.

When you are done, eject your iPod Touch.

    Happy Trails!
