the video is great, however I am not able to move by folders, I have to move at song level. When I move at song level, I lose all the song names… any one know the workaround for this?

If you deinstall iTunes ( because I lost ALL my files on my computer, including the itunes folder ), and reinstall it, does your computer automatically copy the music and the library from your iPod when you connect it?

Step 1: Make sure you have downloaded the newest version of itunes
Step 2: Click the Icon on the top, left side of the screen
Step 3: Scroll down to Show menu Bar
Step 4: Click File, scroll down and click Devices
Step 5: Click Transfer Purchases from “ipad, iphone, ipod touch etc.”
    Step 6: Authorize your cpu
And thats it! I kept having the same problems and other youtube videos kept saying to download their programs and all this other BS. Hope this works :)

Thank you so much. I was having trouble with my ITunes Library (it got corrupted or something!), but I was able to restore to my Library from my iPod Nano 4th Gen. This was so easy. I really hate Apple sometimes, they were no help at all. Jeff Davidson – you are my hero!

For those whose Ipod shows up but goes away shortly after or just doesn’t show at all, check the box that says “enable disk use” it SHOULD show after that, then just follow his instructions. worked for me. thumbs up for others i guess.

I had that trouble. My solution was to drop files into the ITunes Music folder by following the path to that folder. I clicked on Libraries then Music then ITunes then ITunes Media and finally Music. When I then clicked the ITunes icon on the desktop the music was there. Hope this helps you!
