If its itunes purchased, it’ll download automatically, all you have to do is click yes.

If its not, you’ll have to download some type of music copying program for ipods (google it) and import the music the old fashioned way.

The most convenient and secure way is to use an iPod transfer program to help you, like this handy one called Tansee iPod Transfer
Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer.

With just a few simple clicks, it will help you transfer all songs/videos from iPod to your selected folder on your computer, and then you can also easily add those files back to iTunes. See detailed guide.
More importantly, this won’t overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song titles are preserved.

Here is the step-by-step guide on the whole process:

    Best luck!

To also transfer the non-purchased music, you need to use this iBackup – iPhone/iTouch/iPod to Computer Transfer program to help you http://ipod-tool.com/ipod-software/aniosoft-ibackup-backup-ipod-music-to-pc.html
It will help you backup all your music, videos, photos, playlists, podcasts and more (both purchased and non-purchased) from your iPod to your computer and iTunes in the quickest and easiest way.
Why not free download it to try? It works like a charm.
