Ipod touch adding music problem?

Question by Noah: Ipod touch adding music problem?
Okay so all the music on my ipod has been ripped from cd’s ive gotten from my local library, those of which i no longer have and have returned. Anyways i would like to add new music, but i had to recently buy a new computer and ALL of my music in iTunes is gone, and whenever i want to sync music to my ipod, it erases ALL of the music on it and syncs it with my library, with my old old ipod classic making it able for me to just drag cd songs from my desktop to my ipod interface, is there a way to do this with the touch? Also i wanted to delete some songs and albums, but it doesnt let me view and delete songs on my ipod touch from itunes, are there settings i need to change or what? Please someone help.

Click on your device under the “Devices” menu on the left han side of itunes, then click on the box that reads “Manually manage music and videos”. By doing that, you can drag and delete any music from itunes to your ipod. Also, when you connect your ipod to any other computer, all your music will not delete at all. Hope this helped :)

An iPod can be synced with only one iTunes account at a time. once you switched to a new iTunes account or a new computer. You have to authorize your iPod to it at first, then you can upload music and video from the new iTunes to your iPod. But this way will overwrite the original files on iPod with the new iTunes. You may try this iPod transfer, it can help you copy files from iPod to computer for backup, you can also use it as an iTunes alternative to upload music and video. It will not erase your original iPod files. It’s safe and works pretty well for me.
