How do you put music from your ipod that you got from somebody else’s computer onto your library without downloading any program or anything?

You can’t. The only way you can transfer music from one iPod to another computer, is to downlod the program PodUtil. You can get a two week free trial with that software, and if your ipod was syched with the same OS as the computer you are putting the music on, it will work.

Dude, the person who said you can’ certainly doesn’t know anything about an iPOD. OK, I’ll teach you. So when you sync your iPOD to your PC, your iTUNES comes up and on the menu bar, the iPOD icon comes up. It should look like the ipod icon with your music playlists below it. click on the (name of your ipod), or the very first thing for your ipod, so that a display of all the options for your iPOD comes up. THere are 5 categories on the top:Summary, Music, Podcast, Photos, Contacts(DEPENDS BY IPOD TYPE), but every Ipod has a summary, and that’s where you go. Below summary, you see 1.Open itunes when this ipod is connected 2. only sync checked items 3. Manually manage music 4. enable disk use. To successfully do this, make sure you have 3 manually manage music NOT checked. After that, CHECK on 4. ENABLE DISK USE. After this you can find all the songs on the iPOD on your desktop. You have to find the songs and sort of upload to your computer, but I’m sure you can find your songs. If you don’t, go to start menu(bottom left) and “search” and search your songs there. more questions? contact me
