Question by Bounty465: Iphone vs Ipod touch?
I’ve been looking at getting an Ipod Touch for a while now and recently my current phone (Samsung Impression) has been… spazzish to say the least. I’ve wanted a new music player for a while now and was just wondering if the Iphone was a good music storage device or if I should just go with a Ipod touch. I’m with AT&T at the time and don’t plan on switching providers any time soon. SO the basic question I’m asking is Ipod touch or Iphone (i can put up with my phone but wouldn’t mind getting rid of it and i need a music player). Also the price and an any other details relevant to the purchase of either.

Well there is 2 reason why the iphone is batter! First is all in ONE, you don’t need to carrie a phone and an ipod, second some cool apps like shazan won’t work with the ipod and many others.
But like always chose for yourself.
    Good luck

The newly introduced iPod Touch bears striking resemblance to the iPhone, aesthetically and functionally.
It uses the same multi-touch screen, apparently runs a scaled down version of OS X that runs Safari and a YouTube application, uses WiFi, has an accelerometer that allows the display to shift based on physical orientation, and uses the same “SpringBoard” interface to launch its applications.

    1) There is no email client on the iPod Touch

    2) There is no Maps application on the iPod Touch

    3) There are no Stocks or Weather widgets on the iPod Touch

    4) There is no built-in camera for the iPod Touch

    5) There are no Blutooth capabilities for the iPod Touch

    6) The iPod Touch has a differently styled “Dock,” with a reflective surface — akin to the Dock that
will debut with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

    7) While the iPod Touch is sleeping, the user can tap the home button twice to bring up touch controls on the screen — a feature the iPhone currently lacks
    8) The iPod Touch has a separate Contacts app — it’s built into the Phone application on the iPhone

    9) The iPod Touch has separate Video and Music apps, whereas the iPhone has a single “iPod” app that contains these functions

    10) There is apparently (and obviously) no microphone on the iPod Touch, though it will be interesting to see if such audio-in capabilities could be enabled via a third-party device.

    11) The iPod touch’s headphone jack is on the bottom of the device

    12) The iPod touch lacks a built-in external speaker

    13) The iPod touch’s screen appears to be of a slightly higher quality than the iPhone, with 163 pixels per inch to the iPhone’s 160 pixels per inch.

It depends! If you just want a music player get the Ipod Nano or iTouch. If you need a phone get the iPhone. iPhone and iTouch both are the same except that the iPhone has a camera and phone capabilities.
