On a Mac you can “force quit” a program by right clicking on the icon in the dock, and then hold the “Option” key and the “force quit” option will appear.

Does anyone one know a program that allows you to copy your songs from your ipod to your itunes library unlimitedly for free, most of these programs cost money after the 20th song transfer and i would really like a free program

To be completely honest it is safer to just drag the folder in and then go in and find anything that was duplicated. That will ensure that all of your music was placed into iTunes and not lost.

i had over 13,000 songs in my itunes. i accidentally erased atleast half of them. i have downloaded the diskaid program and saved all the files off my ipod in a folder on my desktop. when i drag them back into itunes will i have duplicates of all the songs that i didn’t delete? what do you suggest? appreciate it!!

have you tried copying all the files under the music tab onto your mac? Instead of coping the music folder try copying all the F files (music files) under the music tab.
