    you go to your ipod and scroll down it should say something like manually manage music and video apply that and then you can remove the songs from your ipod

    Thank you, I hate this shitty program. What is so wrong with copy and pasting the music onto the device, just like you do with anything OTHER than an Apple product? Bleh!

    I don’t if get the option, “manually manage music” :( I don’t even get a summary tab, I’m using an iPod Shuffle 4th gen

    The latest version of iTunes, you should see a gear icon at the bottom of your playlists. You should be able to delete from there.

    i had the same problem. All i did was restart itunes and suddenly it worked :D
