To this you WILL NEED to have a newer version of your ipod touch.
1. Go to a certain playlist
2. at the top of your page there should be an option saying “edit playlist”
3. then chose the songs you want to delet
4.then when you are done press done.
Hope this helped!

You will need a computer to do this, but here’s how.
You download/install iTunes (if you don’t have it already).
When you hook up your iPod and iTunes recognizes it, it will tell you something along the lines of all the files that aren’t in your iPod library will be deleted and replaced with the ones that are.

This means that since you and the previous owner have different computers, the iPod can only sync from one computer keep all its data.
By syncing it to your computer, you will delete all data that you don’t have on your iTunes. Meaning that only the files that you have in YOUR iTunes library will sync to the iPod, causing whatever isn’t in YOUR iTunes library (including the songs that are on the ipod already) will be deleted.
    Does this make sense?

I’m sorry, there is no way to delete songs from iPod touch directly. You can only do so through a computer and iTunes.

i think you must use computer.
    you can delete by itransferstudio.

iTransferStudio can transfer your songs from iPod to computer, or even import into iTunes. Just connect you iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad to computer, and click “Transfer to Computer” or “Transfer to iTunes”. In a couple of minutes, all your songs, playlists, play counts and ratings will be backed up safe and sound. With iTransferStudio, you can even transfer your songs by title, artist, playlist, genre or album.

It is not possible to delete songs from iPod directly, you have to connect it to a computer first. Apple hasn’t written delete functions into the actual iPod software to allow you to delete on the spot. They have allowed you to delete On the Go playlists, but not the songs themselves.
