    That was happening to me after I typed in the commands in to the Terminal and then I realized that my ipod was showing up on my desktop. I then double clicked the logo and it opened with Finder. The ipod controls was gray and everything

    As i said, worked great but now I have a file called “.DS_Store” on my desktop that can´t be erased even when I put it in the trash and empty. Help anyone?

    here cut this and paste it on your spotlight: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
    then cut this and paste: killall Folder
    It will work for sure :)

    I remember in the 90′s when I used only commands to open folders and run files. Now life became too easy that we cant write a simple command without understanding its meaning or purpose. Must respect science and logic!
