How to add ipod songs onto my new mac?

Question by Mikaela: How to add ipod songs onto my new mac?
I just bought a new macbook pro. Is there any way I can copy my ipod touch song library onto my mac for free? Are there any apple products that I can download for free? Is there a way to do it without downloading anything?
I already added songs onto the computer, but then i made accounts for my family, and my songs won’t apear on my new account, only on my old one… i tried sharing between accounts but it doesnt actually save on my account.. help??

I use a trusted application when it comes to this. Simply clicking and dragging from your iPod to your computer won’t work. It’s iTunes way of keeping you from taking music from other people’s iPods that you haven’t purchased and putting it onto your computer. What you’ll have to do is go to a website (link below) and download the application called “senuTi” (iTunes backwards). They will give you a free, 30-day trial period, which should be all you need to do a simple transfer. Once downloaded, select all the songs you want in your iTunes Music Library and click “Transfer” in the Bottom Left-Hand corner. It won’t be in some weird folder in your Library either, all the music will just be in the “Music” tab when you open iTunes. This is a VERY TRUSTED site. There is no need to fear of a virus. This is a guide for transferring to a Mac. For future reference, transferring to a PC is basically the same, Google search “iPodtoPC”. Hope this helps!
