Question by favorite_worst_dream: How do I transfer music from an old iTunes account to a new computer without iTunes installed?
I bought a new laptop, completely clean as far as programs installed. Is it possible to configure my iPod Touch to transfer my music into a newly downloaded iTunes on my new computer? I don’t have a flash drive, or a ton of blank CD’s. But I don’t want to lose my iTunes purchases, such as the new software upgrade. Help, please.

I think you can export your media from Itunes pretty easily as they are just music files on your computer. Just copy over the actual folders containing your music to your new computer. If you don’t want to buy an external hard drive to do this (They are pretty cheap now…) then you could copy the songs by setting up a network between your two computers using a router or a crossover network cable.

Hope this helps!

Well, to only way is to buy a external hard disk or/and a flash drive. There are flash drives that are 16 gb or 32 gb at surprisingly low cost.

There have been programs that are able to copy music off ipods (search google for it), but i don’t think you want much hassle to how to use it and buying it online.
