Just plug it into iTunes, select which music you want on it & press the Sync button. That’s it.

Music from where? Already on your computer? Downloaded over the internet? On CD’s?

To put music already on your computer, plug in your iPod.

Start iTunes (this will probably happen within a few seconds after the iPod has been plugged in).

Click on the iPod tab on the left side of the window.

On the main window, I would select “manual management of music and video”.

This means that you will have to drag and drop the music yourself – but it’s also much less likely that you will accidentally wipe the music from your iPod.

Click on the music tab under the ipod tab. The main window on iTunes will show the contents of your ipod (which will probably be nil, right?).

Open a window for the folder containing your music.

Using your mouse, drag and drop the music files from their window into iTunes.

If you’ve got a lot of music files, you can block them and just drag the block.

To get music from a CD, just insert the CD and Itunes should prompt you about ripping music from it.
