I just want to put all my songs that are on my iPod Touch on to my laptop and make them useable and movable like any other normal downloaded song. These aren’t purchased tracks. They were downloaded.

The only way you can do it is if your jailbroken so sorry. But you did say you downloaded them, you can just plug in a portable memory stick to the comp that has all our music & transfer them to the laptop. Unless you downloaded them from the iPod then I can’t help you….but iTunes should recognize them, no?

just connect your iPod to iTunes through your laptop’s USB. iTunes will detect your iPod in iTunes. Select your iPod from the list and click “sync” button. All the songs will be in a separate folder in your laptop. You can find them easily by searching. Afterthat you can copy paste them to anywhere you want.

Theses answers are all wrong m8.

I transfer music from my Ipod to Computer all the time. Basically you can eather download a program to transfer the music, or you can take it off manually:

Start> Computer > Your Ipod > Tools > Folder Options > Show Hidden Files (if not hear go to Control Panel) > then go through the hidden files and drag the folders onto your computer. the names will be in a weird Format, but Itunes will change them back to normal.

    Hope this helped m8 =]

Hello, as long as your songs are still on your iPod, you can get them onto your computer and iTunes easily.

The most convenient and secure way is to use an iPod-to-computer transfer program to help you, like this handy one called Tansee iPod Transfer
Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer. The whole process goes as follows:

Firstly install this program on your computer. When you plug your iPod to the computer, this program will instantly display all songs and videos on the iPod.You simply select what you wish to transfer and click “Copy” button. Done. All your selected files will be copied to your computer safely. Now you can easily add those songs and videos to your iTunes library. See detailed guide.
More importantly, this won’t overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names are preserved.

Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process:

    Best luck!
