The only program that allows you to sync songs to your ipod is iTunes.

Now, if you want to download music, you wouldn’t have to only use Limewire, or paying with iTunes. You could try other p2p networking programs, such as BearShare, eMule, Frostwire.
These basically are the same. Or maybe you could use your Limewire to get Limewire Pro.

Or, you could also download torrent files. This is better for downloading whole albums and discographys other than individual songs.
In order to download torrents, you would need a torrent client such as Azureus, BitComet, BitTorrent, uTorrent and many others.
I personally use uTorrent because of it’s small file size and ease of using.
Now that you have your torrent client, (i’m assuming you downloaded and installed it on to your computer) you have to find the actual Torrent file.
    I always use http://www.piratebay.org
for my torrents. Just go to this site, and search for what you want such as “Arctic Monkeys Album”. Find the results.
Now when there are results, pay attention to the amount of “Seeds” and “Leechers” next to the torrent file.
The more “Seeders” there are, the faster the download will go. The more ‘leechers’ there are, the slower.

Try to find a good torrent file that has a decent amount of Seeders and low amount of Leechers.

    Hope I’ve helped.
