you need itunes :) plug it in to your pc. and then itunes shud reconginse your ipod – if it says register dont it mucks it up you cant download music w/ wiping off your music that you already got.

download “iTunes” from apple.com for free. once that program is downloaded open it and connect your touch. the program will walk you thro the set up of the iPod. Once that’s all done, you can load the cds you already have to you riTunes library by putting a CD in your drive with iTunes open and while connected to the internet. the CD will be scanned (via internet connection) by CDDB and track names will be listed if it is not a random mix that you put together. you will then be asked to “import” the CD. say ok and it will put the music from the CD into your library. when you connet the touch the next time it will sync the music from the cd on to the touch. you can also purchase music from the iTunes store or you can put music file you have on your computer into iTunes as well.

    hope this helped!
