Extract music from iPod touch?

Question by Arianna J: Extract music from iPod touch?
Okay so here’s the situation… I live in two different states during the year and I’m such a music freak that I have essentially half of my music on one computer and half on the other. I have an 8GB iPod touch, (and it doesn’t really hold the 8 gigs as promised) and I’m wondering how to extract the music that was downloaded from an original cd, which is now on the iPod to the computer that it wasn’t downloaded on. So basically wondering how to download music off of my iPod onto the computer ( the stuff that WASN’T purchased on iTunes)

I’m pretty good with computers and I’ve tried EVERYTHING I can think of! soooo… ten points to anyone who can tell me how!! Thanks sooo much!(:

Oh and i need to do this for free….my income is…nonexistent(: So I need to get about 300 songs off of it for FREE….

    I think this will work:

    1. Sync your iPod with your iTunes.
    2. Open the folder on your computer that says Music.
    3. Click on iTunes>>iTunes Music
    4. There will a folder for every artist that you have on your iPod and in the folders will be the songs that you have from them.

    Hope I could help!!

I recommend a very professional ipod transfer.

    With it, you can:

1: Transfer/Share iPod files from one iPod to another iPod.
2: Transfer/Backup iPod files from iPod to your computer.
3: Transfer/Backup iPod files from iPod to your iTunes.
4: Manage your iPod like a movable hard drive and transfer ipod videos/photos/music between iPod and iPod, iPod and computer/laptop, ipod and itunes.
