Can I buy songs off amazon and download to ipod touch?

Question by DanTheBib: Can I buy songs off amazon and download to ipod touch?
Basically, I have an ipod touch (yay Christmas!). However, I was wondering if instead of just downloading songs off the built in itunes app, could I download songs off, say, Amazon, or play.com directly onto my ipod touch.

Thanks a lot, and Merry Christmas
:)

No. You can only download directly to the device from the iTunes Store. You can download from Amazon to your computer though and then sync the iPod.

Yes, you need a wireless router. You can download music directly on it from iTunes. You still have to pay for the songs. You don’t have to pay any fees.

I don’t think that’s possible. You have to download the information into your computer and then transfer it into your ipod touch and get the information transfered.
What you COULD do is just download the songs, put them into a folder, drag them all into your ipod touch, and delete the folder; empty your recycling bin.

I don’t know why you would do this though; what if your ipod touch gets stolen, or your songs get erased? Wouldn’t you like to have the songs stored into one place if this ever happens? It’s called backup :(

Question by Pookie!: iPod songs download?
Where can I download songs for my iPod without slowing down my computer?

ITunes is the best one for an Ipod. If you download Itunes no major damage will happen to your computer and no damage happened to mine. If you do download it then it is extremely easy to sync them onto your ipod from your computer all you do is create a playlist and put that on ur ipod. I download my songs from Limewire though it is really easy to hack through though but it is worth it because it doesnt slow down your computer but it does sometimes take a while to find the songs (by a while i mean like a minute) but thats it.

Ipod Touch Won’t Download All My Songs?

Question by leigh: Ipod Touch Won’t Download All My Songs?
So, my computer crashed a little while ago, but I got it working again and I had to download Itunes and all my music back onto it. Well, sometimes it downloads the songs to my Ipod and sometimes it doesn;t and vice versa. I hope this makes sense, but I really need to know how to get all my music on my Ipod and on my Itunes.

I know this probably won’t help, but my sister’s iPod touch is acting the same way. All the music is on iTunes but it wont download all of it on her iPod. It skips a lot of songs.

One reason this might be happening is if you move the music to a different folder on your computer. If you move the music to another folder, iTunes will not know and won’t sync to your ipod. ITunes will search in the original folder and not find it in there. You’ll know that’s happening if you click a song in iTunes that hasn’t synced to your iPod. If you click on the song and an exclamation mark pops up, that means it can’t find it. You have to click on it and press search for folder or something and then show the new folder. Hope this helps.

Question by : Ipod touch 4th generation. Problem downloading songs to Ipod?
Recently my Ipod wants me to restore my Ipod because it doesnt recognize it or something stupid. But i restored it and I was trying to put my songs back on and it says like 1 out of 500 downloading and it says that a half hour later. Ive tried refreshing restarting my computer and doing it again. Ive trided manually adding songs but that doesnt work.
Does anyone have any suggestions that would be useful
Thanks in advance
Have a good day
