Can the newest 8GB iPod Touch support .mp3 music files?

Question by Sally: Can the newest 8GB iPod Touch support .mp3 music files?
I have not received the iPod YET.

do I have to use itunes if i already have .mp3/.wmv music files on my computer?

Do they have to convert to a certain file type?

How do I sync the files onto the iPod Touch?
(Does the cable they provide support it?)

    Congrats forthe iPod :-)

It’s very simple to add music files to your iPod and you can add only mp3 files so I don’t think you’ll face any problem as you already seem to have them.

Well, fort transferring your music into iPod you require iTunes ofcourse there are alternates but those are for nerds so it’s better you use iTunes as it is simple without any problems.

To sync music into the iPod you definitely require the cable or the chord and once you have connected it to the computer and the iPod just launch iTunes.

Now you should be able to see your iPod name on the middle left side of iTunes, just click on the iPod once or click on the subtitle name music under iPod.

Now you should be able to see a blank page to dump files, just open the folder where you have all the songs that you want in your iPod, copy them and then drag them and drop them on the iTunes music page.

You should see syncing iPod on your iPod now if everything went well, don’t rush to drag and drop cause usually when you hover over the iTunes while dragging, cursed gets stuck for a moment so don’t just leave the click instead wait till it becomes smooth and then release the click so that sync becomes successful.

And yeah one final thing when your iPod is getting synced don’t slide and open it cause doing so will cancel the sync.

Now it should be easy for you :-)
