How can I download Limewire music to itunes to ipod touch?!?

Question by blondiegirl706: How can I download Limewire music to itunes to ipod touch?!?
I just bought an ipod touch and want to put music on it. I used to have an ipod nano and used Limewire to put the songs on it. I would open up both Limewire and Itunes then click and drag the songs I wanted from Limewire over to itunes and it would let me place it in my “name of ipod” icon and would sync it. Now with this one it wont work… It seems like I can only download songs that were bought and stored in the itunes library. Can someone please help me. It just worked befoe and I dont want to have to start using itunes to download all my music from now.. Thanks so much for your help!!

i know.good thing apple didnt eliminate the use of sharing files for using on ipod.
it should work the same way, except this time yoiu have to click and drag the songs from the limewire library to the itunes library.then when u got the songs there convert them to AAC format or something like that.then click and drag the song name to the ipod and voila there you have it!.:)
im glad i could help you.have a great day.

Ipod-Music transfer to iTunes?

May 29th, 2014 No comments

Question by winniethepoohx347: Ipod-Music transfer to iTunes?
If you download & use that [legal] program where you can transfer your ipod music to your itunes, can that bring your computer viruses? Like if you got a new computer, & your old one had viruses [due to use of limewire] & you transfer all the songs from your ipod onto your new computer, will it give it those same viruses? I don’t use limewire anymore.

btw, I have an anti-virus/anti-spyware program.

**an iPod is like a storage device, like an USB and all ur stuff is in there, but HIDDEN! and by following my steps ur simply unhiding stuff :D follow these steps:

1) connect ur iPod to ur PC

2) open my computer > Apple iPod (disk)

3) type in the adress toolbar of the folder : “iPod_Control”

4) then it will open an empty folder or it may contain tones/gamestats

5) dont open them, just type in the toolbar agan: “Music”

6) right click in Any space and make sure the “Hidden” place in un-checked…..

7) ull c folders named F14 – F28 – and many more ;)
8) open them, and there r all ur videos + music!! the names might be “DZUG” or “SIMF” but never mind that….!

9) copy eeeeeeeeverything into r hard drive or any folder in ur PC

10) from there, drag the songs (called GHDD or whatever) into ur iTunes

11) THEN NAMES WILL COME BACK!

*make sure u follow step #9 carefully….u HAVE TO save the music files somwhere else in ur PC (dont just drage the stuff from the iPod disk directly to iTunes)

PS i do this for my iPod nano and i have Windows XP – so if it doesnt work then probably cuz ur using different stuff…

iPod Help!! Music from iPod to Computer?

May 29th, 2014 No comments

Question by katlanta: iPod Help!! Music from iPod to Computer?
My computer recently crashed and I lost EVERYTHING. However I haven’t plugged my iPod in and had my music erased. I want to get my music from my iPod onto my computer. I’ve googled this and there are a lot of expensive products that do it, but I’m skeptical. I know my way around a computer pretty well, so any tech help I can probably work out. Free way to do this would be fabulous.
Thanks so much!

*an iPod is just like a storage device – kinda like a USB. so all ur music/videos are in there but hidden — all u need to do is unhide them

*before continuing-make sure u have iTunes ;)

*now just follow these steps:

1) connect ur iPod to ur PC/laptop
2) when iTunes opens up – DON’T CHOOSE THE “erase + sync” option. if iTunes didn’t open don’t worry

3) anyways go to My Computer > Apple iPod (disk) or whatever u named it (my iPod)

4) open it, and open the folder called “iPod_Control”.
if its not their – then go to the Adress bar and type this:

iPod_Control

5) it will open and ull find folders called tones, gamestats, or whatever. now right-click in any space and un-check the HIDDEN option..
> “apply changes to this folder, subfoler, and files”

6) then ull see many more folders, including “MUSIC”
if its not there, then type in the Adress Bar:

Music

7) when u opened that folder, ull c other folders called “F-08″/”F-14″/etc.
if they’re not there, then right-click in any space and un-check the “HIDDEN” option..
8) then there are all the folders with your music and videos! don’t worry if the names are “DHSJ” or “FJDS”….

9) all u need to do know is copy eeeeeeeeeeverything into ANOTHER folder on ur desktop or anywhere u want in ur laptop/pc

10) open iTunes, and drag all ur songs/videos FROM THE FOLDER U CREATED ON UR DESKTOP OR ANYWHERE ELSE in the iTunes library. there names will come back!

11) then just sync ur iPod!

GOOD LUCK!
