I don’t have any experience with Zune, so I don’t know what audio codec the Zune Marketplace uses, but you should be able to use a simple audio converter to convert them to .mp3 or .aac. A good converter for this is “dBpoweramp Music Converter.” Its shareware, but there’s a 21 day trial, which is plenty of time to convert all your music.

Again, I don’t know if it is, but if music purchased at Zune Marketplace is protected with DRM (digital rights management) then you’ll have to strip the protection off, using a program such as (not limited to) Tunebite Platinum. Or you can go the cheap route and burn your music to an mp3 cd, then rip it to your itunes library. This will also strip the DRM off. Do a google search on how to “strip off drm” and you can find lots more info.

Hope this works for you, or at least gives you a good idea of what you have to do.

iTunes wont download certain songs to iPod touch?

July 29th, 2011 No comments

Question by ✝Allison✝: iTunes wont download certain songs to iPod touch?
Okay, so basically I just used the YouTube to MP3 converter to get Lady Gaga’s new album. I downloaded all 13 songs, and they all play fine on iTunes. When I went to download them to my iPod touch 4G, only 7 of the songs from the album downloaded, and I cant figure out why.

I already:
- downloaded the newest iTunes and iPod software
- restored my iPod
- tried changing the sync settings so that only the desired album synced to my ipod (still, only those 7 songs synced), and then so that only the ‘recently added’ playlist (which contained all the songs I wanted) downloaded (same outcome)
- authorized my computer
- checked to make sure that the songs were MP3 files and were in the correct iTunes folder
- used the new Home Sharing for the iPod with the new software update (I was able to locate the songs in the shared library using my iPod, and when I clicked one of the songs that could not be synced, it looked like my ipod was about to play the song [it showed the album cover, artist, song name, and length of the song] but when i hit play, the song did not play and the play arrow (sideways ▲) that appears in the upper right corner started to quickly appear and disappear.

Also, when I go to sync my entire library, it says above the check-list box that there are 214 songs to sync, but when the songs are downloading, it says ‘syncing __ of 206 songs’.

I know this seems like a lot of hassle for 7 or 8 songs, but I’m a hardcore Little Monster and this has just been driving me crazy because I seem to have done everything right! Thanks for any help!

What is the thing that lets you play your ipod music using the car radio?

Question by DaBanMan: What is the thing that lets you play your ipod music using the car radio?
I saw this little gadget that allows you to play music from an ipod in your car speakers by setting it to a radio station, and then you set the car radio to that station and can hear your music play. What the hell is it? I want one!
